Abstract
Objective : The purpose of this study was to propose an training program for the recovery of knee osteoarthritis in aging patients by confirming the effect on pain and functional level by applying the sling sensorimotor training program to aging patients with knee osteoarthritis.

Methods : A total of 30 subjects were selected, and they were randomly divided into an experimental group(EG) composed of 15 persons to whom were exposed to the sling sensorimotor training program and a control group(CG) composed of 15 persons to whom Conservative physical therapy. Both groups performed three times a week for 6 weeks. The participants were assessed using Korean Western Ontario and McMaster Universities(KWOMAC) to measure subjective pain and function level.

Results : In the EG, KWOMAC(pain) tended to decrease in comparison of scores between groups before and after. In the EG, significant decreases were found in the KWOMAC(function) between pre-test and post-test(p<.05).

Conclusion : These findings suggest that the sling sensorimotor training program is effective for aging patient with knee osteoarthritis of reduce pain and recovery function.
